No two sessions are the same, on purpose.

We talk first

Before you get on the table we ask what you're feeling, where it hurts and what you want to walk out with.

We blend what works

Unless you ask for one specific style, every session mixes techniques — deep work where you need it, gentler work where you don't.

You leave lighter

Less tension, better sleep, easier movement. We'll tell you what we noticed and when it makes sense to come back.

What we offer

Relaxation to clinical, and everything between.

Therapeutic massage: Targeted bodywork that relieves pain, helps injuries heal and restores normal function to soft tissue.
Deep tissue: Slow, sustained pressure for stubborn muscle tension and old injuries. Improves range of motion.
Neuromuscular: Focused trigger-point work that releases tired, knotted muscles for results that last.
Sports massage: For active people: overworked muscle groups, faster recovery, and stretching built in.
Prenatal: Comfortable, safe positioning for the mother-to-be. Eases fatigue and stress as your body changes.
Oncology massage: Gentle, informed care for clients going through cancer treatment — relaxation and stress relief.
Menopause massage: Massage, lymphatic drainage and reflexology combined to ease symptoms and support you through this stage of life.
Lymphatic drainage: Light, rhythmic work that helps the lymph system move fluid — Rhonda is certified in it.
Reflexology: Pressure on the zones of the feet to calm the nervous system. A full session or a 30-minute add-on.

The people behind the owl

Rhonda & Bill Lehan

The Green Owl is a family business. Rhonda and Bill have been married since 2003 and have called Waxhaw home for fourteen years, raising their three kids here. Their youngest, Evie, works the front desk.

Rhonda trained at the North Carolina School of Massage and Bodywork. She is certified in lymphatic drainage and trained in oncology, prenatal and menopause massage — care for every stage of life.

Bill trained at the North Carolina School of Advanced Bodywork. He specializes in deep tissue and sports massage and is skilled in stretch therapy.
